Socks
After many sock experiments, I finally used ankle length 1000 mile socks (they have an inbuilt liner) on the Camino Frances this year - no blisters except one small one between toes (and an toe guard sorted that out). They felt more comfortable and were cooler than the various sock and liner...- Lyssi

Al, you were walking at a cracking pace. London (probably like Wolverhampton) is the opposite of everything I loved on the Camino . In answer to a question you put to me when we first met - yes, I feel it has changed me profoundly. I am yet to find out quite what that will mean for day to day...- Lyssi
