    Lodging for Six pilgrims

What a dream come true with a third camino! I really hope I will be in your physical condition when I turn 74! I walked Camino Portugués in October 2022 and booked places because we walked as a group (my three adult kids and one son in law). Usually I never book on the camino, but being a group...

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

Looking much forward to this - Thanks.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

Good option too, but I ended up in Vigo, because I wanted to do Oia - Baiona this time, and the cost for that seems to be Vigo.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

O I did actually walk along the harbour. It was nice, but it was a short moment compared to the immense amount of traffic ans asphalt in total going in and out of Vigo. Totally sure I will not go to Vigo next time even though the views out where nice after Vigo.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

This is SO useful! Thanks a lot. Will look at this option. Could be if there was a waymarked camino option to skip Vigo. Thank you so much.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

What an experience sleeping on a sailboat! Agree about the nice views right after Vigo - the part called Ruta del Agua

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

    Agree totally.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

It felt truly endless. I am no purist but dislike driving when I am on a pilgrimage. It feels to fast for me.

Is it possible to skip Vigo?

I walked the Camino Portuguese Coastal route in October. Walking into Vigo and out again felt like an endless walk in the asphalt jungle even though we enjoyed the beach and Parque de Castrelos. A question for next time: Is there a waymarked connection route from Baiona or Ramallosa to the...

    Kayola closed?

Hi all. Does anyone know whether Kayola is closed or open? They have some popup on the Orrisson wegsite saying it is closed, but it still seems possible to book. https://refuge-orisson.com/en/accommodation/le-kayola-dortoir/

What next after the Variante Espiritual?

No doubt in my heart... I would walk Camino San Salvador from León to the cathedral in Oviedo! Extremely beautiful and peaceful. It takes 5-8 days and you can continue along another very magic Camino - Camino Primitivo which starts in Oviedo and ends in Santiago (11-116 days)

    Cost for baggage transport 2022

We saw different companies in April, all between 3 and 5 euros. Available at the albergues.

    Leon to Oviedo

SOOOOOOO wonderful Camino San Salvador. Plenty of oppotunities for a lunch in the mountains. Beware there is about 50 kms without any supermarkets. I walked San Salvador in October and have shared my tips for the route here: https://www.caminolife.com/guide-camino-san-salvador/
