Just how difficult is the Camino Norte ?
I have completed the Frances twice, conquered the Pyrenees with my 14 year old daughter at the time, I was 57, in one day. I just started the Norte from Irun to San Sebastián today. It was a lot of climbing but doable. So much depends on the shape you are in generally. Go for it!!- marysweeney

I walked it twice, also in my duties…One trip 32 days, One trip 37 days. You will be safe anywhere in between that!- marysweeney

How do people 60-and-over plan their Camino?
I am 62 and walked last summer from SJPD to Santiago. I was in decent shape, a runner, and did no extra training, just started walking. I walked with my 18 year old daughter and a friend of hers so I was alone a lot. We averaged about 12-15 miles per day, carried our packs, and loved it!! No...- marysweeney
