Hello Osters66. As a few have mentioned above, writing your emails in French will work well. Write them in English then using ‘translate’, have both English and French in your email. Boots or trainers?
As mentioned above, a harder soled boots worked better for me than ‘trainers/runners, even trail runners’. Walked from Le Puy to SJPP last year and had to buy hard soled low ankle boots 1/2 way through….a lot of rocky ground. You may wish to check at the Pilgrim’s Office Before looking at the stores. 3 pilgrims need walking poles
Hello Lisakline, enjoy your journey! My husband and I completed the Via Podiensis this past September (Le Puy to SJPP) and we did not want to check our poles after our walk (Returning to Canada).
