    Night stage recommendation?

My last day on the CF in September began in Lavacolla, and I started early as I was so pumped up to get to SDC. It was very early morning, very dark, and off I went with my little red light. It was tough paying attention to the trail, and then another pilgrim joined at a trailhead with a...

    Small Folding Knife - Buses/Trains in 2024

It was a shrug for me. At the store, I took a look at it and thought how it was similar to my old Boy Scout knife. You live and learn. By the way the Police were kind and said it happens all the time.

Exactly what I did @DTCamino . Worked out the Decathlon store location and picked up poles. Also bought a pocket knife - that was confiscated at the train station as it was a millimeter or 2 larger than the limit (groan).

    Embarrassing moments

As a Catholic pilgrim, my intention was to insure that I took the sacrament of Confession at the Cathedral. Looking around, I couldn’t figure out where to go, so I went to one of the guards to point me in the right direction. So off I go to a corner of the north transept near the door. There is...

    Hi everyone

Welcome! I too was in your place last year. We can’t predict weather so my advice is to roll with it. Great advice above from some very experienced folks. My kit included a fleece vest that was to be my alt pillow. Didn’t use it at all. After wearing my poncho the first time at Cruz de Ferro...
