    Leaving Car In Sarria.

I previously asked about leaving our car in SdC, but we are now thinking it will be easier for us if we drive to Sarria and leave our car there whilst we walk to SdC. We could then get the bus back to Sarria at our leisure at the end of the walk. Does anyone know what our options are for...

    Leaving our car in SdC

Thanks annie, david and falcon - there are some great links there. I look forward to having a closer look through them. Seems that the airport is a feasible (and affordable) option for storing our car - thanks for those links annie. Cheers ... Leanne

    Leaving our car in SdC

We are driving our own car into SdC and planning on catching a bus to Sarria - then walking back to SdC. We have been advised that our best option may be to leave our car in 'secure' parking for the week at SdC airport. Just wondering what your thoughts are - has anyone done this? Would our car...

    Less Crowded Early September?

Gee guys, I'm getting a bit worried now. Maybe I should go back to my original plan of booking ahead. I just thought it would be nice to wing it and be free to walk as far as we feel each day. I'll start researching places I can book ahead and will be back with more questions... thanks so much...

    Less Crowded Early September?

Thanks everyone - I wish you all well on your treks as well. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to do the whole CF like some of you lucky ones ... next time! I guess I can expect the crowds to still be there from Sarria onwards in that first week of September. I don't really want to book...

    Less Crowded Early September?

Hi again ... I am reading of these incredible numbers of pilgrims currently on the camino - wow, it sounds very busy! I don't understand much about the holy year I'm sorry - have tried to read as many posts as possible. My questions are - should the numbers decrease as the summer months pass or...

    Pillows?

Thanks viajero, I'm like you ... I don't like too soft a bed, so a bit harder will be preferable. It's good that you didn't have a problem - that gives me hope Leanne.

    Pillows?

Thanks so much everyone ... I appreciate your time and advice. That's very encouraging news about the mattresses Portia - I have to admit I too am surprised. I really expected them to be pretty average, and that I would grin & bear it. Hopefully there will be more good than bad ... but in the...

    Pillows?

Hi everyone ... this is my first post- so please be gentle!! My husband and I are excited to be doing our first 'part' camino in the first week of September, and we have a gizillion questions running around in our heads. Due to time constraints, we'll be one of the "last 100kms" crowd (very...
