I’ve had a pair of custom sleeping plugs made by my local audiologist. A bit pricey at just over £80 pounds but they’re excellent. Easy to insert, comfortable with excellent noise reduction. They’re also very hygienic as they’re made of medical grade washable silicone.
Hi, I’ve had peripheral neuropathy in my lower legs, feet and fingers for 25+ years. Doctors have no clue what caused it. But since having a B12 injection every 10wks it’s not gotten any worse.
I start my first camino in less than a couple weeks. So you probably have advice for me?
My advice is...
I think they’re worth it. Wet feet = blisters. I wear injini toe socks as a base layer and either EDZ waterproof socks for wet weather or Coolmax sock for dry weather. I always wear boots. Non gortex boots are cheaper and dry quicker.
I’ve been testing Guru maps. Very impressed. The pro version for a one off charge, allows you to download maps all countries. Unfortunately, it’s still doesn’t work with Apple Watch. But they say it’s coming. iPhone App link
