Having just been bitten by a dog on the Camino Portugeuse I can't say how important it is to carry a small first aid kit particularly with some disinfectant
I am on the Portuguese Camino now and want to thank all the people who paint the yellow arrows all along this route (and other routes as well)
I just want whoever is responsible for the markings to know how much I appreciate them

I just read your diary for Porto to Santiago and really enjoyed it - thanks for sharing. I will be leaving Porto on March 20 and hope to walk to Santiago over 10 days. I am a little nervous about the walk out of Porto and the traffic problems.

I am leaving Saint Jean on March 20. It's the first day of Spring so am hopeful the weather will cooperate but will be prepared for anything.
