    Class of 2008!

Oh hey! I had some of this stuff during Christmas! My brother's fiance's Swedish and she served it to us with almonds I think... very spicy!

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

Yes! Bananaman! I used to love that cartoon. I have some good memories of Dangermouse too! And yes, I think we have both resigned ourselves to the fact that we're most probably going to be way to tired to get up to any shenanigans most nights.

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

Thanks Pesky, I sure will! The missus and I are in training. Walked at this place called the '1000 steps' today. For those of you in Melbourne, you might know it. About 2kms up and down. We did it twice last week (no packs), and twice this morning (half packs). Next week will be either 3 times...

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

In Autralia there used to be a cartoon on television when I was growing up called Bananaman. The main character, Eric, would turn into a superhero bananaman after he ate one. The line from the spiel at the start of the show was 'Eric is banamaman!'. There. That's about as brief as I can make it! :)

    Money Belts (Which one?)

I'm going to try to use a PacSafe Money belt. Very durable, does'nt look like it can be cut easily and the snap buckle is hidden so it can't be undone without pulling it out first. I'll probably not use it whilst walking though.

    power

Depending on the size of the panel it would be a good idea/ They don't weigh a lot at all. One appliance for several devices seems to make sense to me. Haven't tried one first hand though.

    Post-camino tattoo?

Ahhhh but it will be done after we have walked the camino! Surprisingly, my fiance thinks that it's a pretty neat idea. She normally doesn't go for tattoos. Must be a sign.

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

Haha, we probably can't afford the 'special' albergues! We're having a week in France before starting and staying in private rooms for that leg. Everything else will be dorms etc.

    Post-camino tattoo?

I was very interested to come across this thread. I have been contemplating getting a very small tattoo somewhere for about 4 years now and have never found something that I know I would not regret years down the track. The idea of a small scallop shell sounds quite nice. I'm thinking about 2...

    Clothes Advice

Hi TS, We got most of our gear on the weekend from Paddy Palin (who are having a great sale BTW). Our packs were 30% off! (We went with the Osprey 35's) We also joined the store club to get 10% off everything else. It cost 16bucks for the membership, which lasts for a year. I'm still deciding...

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

Thank Diedre! I would love to get our credencial before we get to SJPP! Unfortunately, my French is not what it should be  What is the address of the Société des Amis de Saint Jacques de Compostelle? Nice to meet you! P.

    Howdy! Meet Pat and Zoe!

Hi everyone! Myself (Pat) and my soon to be wife (Zoe) will be walking the Camino starting just before Easter this year. We've got almost all of our gear, we're breaking in our shoes and digesting as much info as we can from the 4 different guide books I have acquired over the last year or so...

    Class of 2008!

Hi everyone! My fiance and I will be walking the camino for our honeymoon! We're leaving for Paris on the 11th March this year and will be starting from SJPP on the 19th March. We're hugely excited and have 95% of our gear and are in the process of breaking in our shoes. :D I see that there...
