Pamplona is a vibrant city , but I think just one nigth is enought before heading to SJPP, considering probably you´ll pass by it again soon. Furthermore Pamplona has a Decathlon for doing the last stuffs shopping before start the Camino. Enjoy it.
I did the entire Camino from SJPP to Santiago last year and I´m planning to come back and skip some parts. I would definetely skip the meseta, from Burgos to Leon or more to Astorga. This part, the meseta is monotonous , some parts without shades if you go on a sunny day. I did on a a bike , but...
I used jacotrans in almost all the strechs(legs) of the Camino, last september. They delivered a goos service. In every accomodation they had a list of other campanies. In the Galicia I used a local company that I don´t remember the name.
Hi. I did the entire french camino on a bike last october. I thought the Meseta ,about 250 km, the less interesting part , cause it´s all flat, with no many trees for shading, and there´s an specific part without any village for flood or water suply for about 18 km.
I rented the bike, a 29...
Last month I had to make the tough decision not crossing the Pyrinees by the Napoleon route. I was on a bike and in the morning started raining and was a bit cold. Then I took the Valcarlos route. Doing this stage by the road ( carretera) was amazing as well as much more safe, although I got...
Mspath,
I am a skilled biker as I ride a bike at least 3 times a week for more than 5 years. I will rent a bike over there.
I am not used with such bad weather conditions here in Brazil
Thanks for advices.
sincerely

Helo.
I am having the same trouble and worries. I am starting my CF from SJPP in a bike in Sept 27 and the forecast is rain and cold. I am thinking about to take the alternative route in Valcarlos instead of napoleon route in the uphills Pyrenes. As I am from Brazil I´m not used with this...
I have te same doubt @ChrisG1 . In two weeks I will do the camino from SJPP in a bike and as far as I know the problem in that section is the downhill after the alto del Erro into Zubiri. I will choose the choose the route when i will be there, depending on the climate conditions. If it´s dry...
I will start the CF from SJPP in sept 26, by bike. Will I meet such a big wave of pilgrims in the camino in that period ? I am planning to reach Santiago in oct 10. If my legs were good I will end up in Finisterre.
It´s a bit confusing at all. I will fly to Madri next sept 24th , from Sao Paulo, and I´d like to kwow if I can fill in the app or website for SPTH now or have to way until 72 hours before my fligth to get the QR code.
I also think the Alsa website only sell tickets less than a month in advance. I will do this trip in late september and I couldn´nt buy my ticket. When I tried for august it worked.
