sleeping bag
I would definitely go with a sleeping bag. I have a 500 g, 5 degrees bag I got from MEC that compresses really well. Much warmer and more useful than a liner. The nights can be COLD. And a good night's sleep is important when you are walking all day. I really don't think the blankets and...- salima

portugues or frances?
I have walked the Spanish part of the CP and all of the CF. They are pretty different to me. When I walked the CP, it wasn't June/July/August, when I am sure it is busier, but to me it was very quiet. I would run into very few other pilgrims each day.
