I've been following this thread with interest as I'm also considering this Camino Franglés :) as a possibility. Just curious, would it be possible to get a certificate of distance if one walked from SJPP to Sarria and then from Ferrol to Santiago?
Thanks so much for all the advice, you guys are great! I'm going to try a few of the suggestions here as I'm not really in a position to get another pair at the moment. I'm using my old insoles and I know I need new ones so perhaps that will help. I like the idea of raising my foot slightly so...
So my new Salomons arrived last week. I tried them on and they felt great. I was delighted, until I took them for a short walk no longer than 5 km. The top of the right shoe was rubbing just under my ankle bone. It didn't feel too bad so the next night I went again for another short walk. This...

Hi, I'm planning to do my second Camino in July. My last was in 2014. I was going to use the same shoes as they haven't been worn much since and they were fantastic last time. However while talking to friend I'm beginning to rethink this. The shoes are Salomon and seem to be good. I took them...
Hi, I'm also hoping to start from Pamplona and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get there. Are there any other options flying from Ireland which get you into Pamplona earlier in the day? I was hoping to spend a little time there looking around on the day I arrive and then start walking...
