Dear Julia, I did kumano kodo last april, it was a really nice quite walk. The highlight of my trip besides dual pilgrims cert. were the food and hot springs. Dont foget to collect the credential and route info in the tourist office at Tanabe train station. Have fun and buen camino Stephen- SSuharya

Visits the tourist office at Kii Tanabe, located at the bus station. There you can get trail maps and credential for kumano kodo. It helps to book acomodation ahead of time. Have fun with collecting the stamps- SSuharya
