Hello! I walked in April 2 years ago ago. A 38 liter Deuter was perfect. It fitted me and I carried, including 1 liter of water slightly over 9 kilos. Use an as small as possible backpack!. Pack your stuff weigh and exclude unnececssary stuff. Do not be afraid of bringing "to little". Your needs...- Stenis49
