Interesting. I walked the Camino Frances last year in 30 days, average 25 km/day. This year I plan to walk VdlP, starting on September 1. I am planning for 40 days, including some restdays. My concern is the weather. Is it going to be too hot? Perhaps I have to start early in the morning.

On my first Camino I stayed over at Orisson. It was a very positive experience with a dinner where everybody stood up an presented oneself and the reason for walking the Camino. The next walk to Roncesvalles was not so hard.

I am planning my third Camino, starting in September from Sevilla. I walked Camino Frances in the fall of 2011 and the second one in the spring of 2013. This time, Via del la Plata will be a challenge with fewer albergues and longer daily walks. I know it can be really hot there, but I hope it...
I am little nervous too even though I will start my 3rd Camino in two weeks. Am I fit enough? Will it rain a lot? Will my equipment be OK? Last time I walked (Sep-Oct 2011), I did not have a single day of rain. Nervous but very excited.
Hi,
I will start my second Camino on April 12 from SJPdP. I am from Sweden and I am really excited and anxious to get started. Lets hope for decent weather. Last time I walked was Sep-Oct 2011. Not a single day of rain in 34 days.
Last time I used Sportslick and was very satisfied with that. I didn't get any blisters in 34 days of walking. Sure the socks get a little bit messy, but since you wash the socks every day I don't think it matter so much. Hate to change a winning concept.
I will be 70 this year and plan to walk my second Camino from SJPdP to SdC. I walked my first Camino when I was 68. I hope I will be fit and walk the whole way.
Hi. I am Tom Astrom. I will start my second Camino with start from SJPdP on April 12. I plan to go all the way to SdC and if I am OK go to Finistere as well. Last time I walked in Sep-Oct and had very good weather. Not a single day of rain. I expect it will be colder and more rain this time. I...
