    We are doing the coastal route starting in early June. We plan to walk the Matosinhos and then get the metro back to Porto. The following morning we will get the metro back out to Matosinhos and then walk to Villa de Conde

    If you have 5 weeks definitely do the whole Camino Frances. If you have 2 weeks I suggest you do Leon to Santiago or the CP from Porto

    Advise to the beginner

    I would suggest you make sure you have the right equipment first and walk your shoes in. The Coastal version is nice and flat compared to the central version or Camino Frances. So you may find this the best to start with.
