COVID COVID-19 — It is time to postpone your camino.

Supporting pilgrims always, it’s all about listening to Mother Nature and she’s screaming at us now! This too shall pass.

    Windows shut

I think it has more to do with body temperature and how cold people are vs nationality. If you don’t have enough blankets, body fat you want windows closed to be warm, if you don’t have enough oxygen you want windows open to have more air. Don’t think it matters what flag you sleep under.

    Discouraged in Florida

The distance seems great at home but is nothing on the Camino. I only trained max 3 hrs at home. Once on the Camino I used to get up early and Just walk for an hr or so then stop for breakfast, then walk for a couple of hours n stop for coffee or cool drink then walk for a couple of hrs n light...

Camino Frances in october 2 weeks

I’d recommend the CDF starting from Leon to Santiago. There are more people to meet and mix with, more facilities and going to the end gives you the sense of completion , achievement and camaraderie. I haven’t done the a Portuguese yet, but I met a few people in the queue in Santiago waiting to...

    Is this a sign?

@Telboyo Here are your clues. "The Camino will Provide" I think " Life always provides, what is so special" .... I have met many people who swear that the Camino changed their life, I don't have that feeling yet... I walked the Camino with real intent, (intent to finish) perhaps too much, but it...

    Non-religious staying at Auberges

From “A Guide to the Camino de Santiago” Although cycling is a relatively new way to undertake the Camino de Santiago it is an excellent choice for those who want to experience as much of ‘The Way’ as they can in a shorter time frame. Cycling the Camino is an accepted way to complete a...

I probably won’t do this again

Just decide to sleep. Shift workers have to put up with day noises all the time and just do it without winging. First world problems. Just learn to be more tolerant.

    Average Kilometres per Day

I'm planning to walk from León to Santiago (and depending on time and fatigue hopefully to Finisterre) and giving myself between 3 and 4 weeks. Elmé It comes down to the foot and body care. You need good boots that you’ve worn around home for 8 hrs a day and not got blisters. I walked Leon-...

What to do about a proud tagger (a person who scrawls graffiti)

Traa perception is an interesting thing.. I have read and re read @Rum comments and can see no scolding there. apart from your harsh words and reaction

What to do about a proud tagger (a person who scrawls graffiti)

Thank you for not glorifying this unsociable behaviour. I agree that nearly everyone who graffitis knows its wrong, advising them again does not educate them but reinforces the negative behaviour by drawing others attention to it. This was their aim in the first place - notice me I left my mark/...

    Baggage Etiquette

I think the answer may lie in whether you stay in (or send to) larger well known albergues en the major CF route, or chose to send to more bespoke or independent accommodation off the beaten track. I have sent my pack from standard well known alburgue to standard alburgue, and even the...
