I am 5 '1 and after fittings and much searching, got the Osprey Mira 32L-it even came with a water bladder. It was perfect for the CF this past June. Got it at REI which does a great job with fittings. Good luck 🌞
Thank you all. I arrive in Sarria today. Its rain rain rain for the next few days.
I hope wool Sox with liners will do the trick. And i will look for albergues with a dryer.
I struggled for months finding shoes. My podiatrist? suggested several, inckuding Hoka and New Balance v1080 but the ones that fit best for me were the Brooks ghost. I will know how they wear soon and report back.
Hola Peregrinos
I arrive in Tricastela Friday. I am trying to plan a few nights ahead because i now need to transport part of my pack.
When I look at Gronze.com for prices, then go to Booking.com, the prices are much higher. And no option for single bunk.

May your Camino never end♡♡♡
Thank you :)

I fly in 10 days!.Because of an achilles tear, I have to be prepared to transport part of my bag nightly
I am trying to retain some flexibility, as I am not sure how far I can walk each day.
Questions:
To know which accommodations will take a 20 L bag ahead -Do I just call each...
Thank you @trecile , I got the osprey 20 L :)
Peregrinos, I have more questions about how this works
Now that I have to send a bag ahead, I have to call the Albergues individually to see if they will will take it, correct? And I municipal albergues will not, correct?
And is one day ahead...
Thank you both, but there is a lot of rain in the forecast currently. I would rather be safe than soggy.
I am looking for shoe COVERS , not waterproof shoes.
I FINALLY have the right shoes, podiatrist approved....whew. less than 2 weeks to go!
But theyre not waterproof at all.
Any suggestions for rain covers for shoes, galoshes etc?
2 weeks to go!
I have a foot injury I'm recovering from, and may need to transport my bag nightly. My pack will serve well as a day pack.
I'm looking for recommendations for something I can stow and use for a transport bag with a service if needed.
Thx in advance
I feel you, I ami a similar place. 62, Less than 3 weeks to go and trying to nurse my tendonitis tear. Because of that I am not int the shape I hoped would be by now. But I'm going anyway.
