It wasn't really when I wanted to quit......the worst thing for me was getting shin splints and the thought that my Camino was finished. I got to a hospital in Burgos, after 2 days in pain, and then was advised to rest for 5 days...which I did, and then back on the trail.......thankfully. The...
I would say that every km is different, and with each new village, town and city you reach, they all have something different. The pilgrims you meet and sometimes walk with add to each and every day. Give it a go for the full 30/35 days
Trust me you will not be bored at all.

I remember Maria when we stopped on a boiling hot day asking for cold drinks. She simply pointed and said 'Green door'. On the other side of the Green door was 2 fridges containing ice cold drinks. Thank you Maria, god bless you. RIP
I would say enjoy St Jean over night, then if you've booked Orisson, which you will probably need to do, set off about 10am and enjoy the 1st days walking. 3-4 hours.
I've travelled from Leeds to Stanstead by train, Fly to Biarritz, bus from Airport to Bayonne station 1 euro, and then train to SJPDP.
I've also travlled from Leeds to Manchester by Train, flew to Bilbao, got the bus to Pamplona, then Pamplona to to Bayonne ?(all Alsa Bus).
Whichever way you...
Last year I attended a private hospital in Burgos purely because it was the nearest. It's located further than the Cathedral and the square and on for about another 1km. Its on the map of Burgos, more or less down from the Castle.
The receptionist I had spoke English as did one of the doctors...
I stayed in Linares, beautiful Albergue but no where to eat as the only restaurant was closed. If I had the choice again I'd stay in O'Cebriero.

You can always get bus from Pamplona to Bayonne (2 hours) then train to St Jean (1.25 hours). Taxi or bus from Puente la Reine to Pamplona takes half an hour.
I suggest you book the Campanile at the Airport as the bus to the train station in Bayonne leaves every 20 minutes the next morning just round the corner. Go on their website or booking.com. Buen Camino
