We are in Pobeña tonight and really struggling to get accomodation for tomorrow night. We are pretty desperate. Any tips from anyone? We will do a longer or shorter stage.
Feels like I will be the only peregrino starting in Irun on April 1st. And it's not even an April fools joke... 😉
Well... I'm ready for the rain and the solitude and the coastal alternatives.
Buen Camino to everyone also planning their first steps.
I've found this amazing document that I think is owned by the same Dave?

I just had to smile a little at my very hopeful comment on 06/01/2020. I am so thankful that we can now stand on the other side of this amazingly weird period. And I will be trying again on the 1st of April this year. Does anyone know if this list has been kept up to date somewhere?

Hi all! I'm a peregrino from South Africa and completed the Frances in April/May 2017.
I am hoping to return for Del Norte in September after a failed attempt in April 2020. It sounds like a 2022 Camino has a lot of of uncertainties. With it being a Holy Year, the Camino might be very crowded...
Hi Duane! Good to "see" you again. This post just put a huge smile on my face! I still remember our semi-anxious dinner in SJPDP the evening before we set out for Route Napoleon. Can't believe you are living in Spain now. I hope to get back there and walk Del Norte as soon as it is safe to do so.
I walked Camino Frances in April 2017 starting in SJPP. I wanted to walk on my own. To find myself. The extreme introvert in me did NOT want people in my space, intruding on my "me-time". About 30 days later, on my way to Muxia, I wrote the following:
"After walking on my own for most of today...
