Hi Mona, my niece and I did that exact route in August 2019. We never had a problem with finding beds even not booking ahead.
Try and include the Spiritual Route as well, wonderful ecperience. Whatever you decide, enjoy and relish every moment.
The Meseta is by far the favourite part of my Caminos, I walked alone, and to be one with the sky and the only sound the crunch of your boots on the way, heaven on earth !!!
Well, I can say with all my heart.... I have more confidence and self-worth after my solo week on the Magical Meseta. Have done Frances and Portuguese with friend which was also very good but somehow walking those vistas on my own and twice being the only pilgrim in the albergue, did some great...
I waljed the Portuguese route from Porto in August last year
I walked the Portuguese route from Porto in August, beautiful, but I struggled with the uphills, because my legs were not strong enough, luckily I walked with my much younger niece so had some support, I am 75, all in all a wonderful...
I did the Portuguese in August and then the Meseta from Burgos to Leon, and of course because we had lovely summer weather I wore a dress (the same one every day) after shower.
I concur, I like people and get along with most, but I tend to be more of a listener than a talker. I did the Meseta on my own in September last year and can say without a shadow of doubt that it was the most fulfilling and enjoyable Camino, to walk in silence with only the crunch of your...

I've done only two, 10 years apart. I did a talk on the Camino at a fellowship group three weeks ago and it was as if I was on the Camino again, I dream of my next one, but finances could be a problem, South African currency !!
I walked the Portuguese with my niece in August, then the Meseta on...
Thank you, I have since decided to walk the section we skipped in 2009, from Burgos to Leon. I hope I will find albergues at short distances, at least the terrain will be flat.
I have just finished the Portaguese route. I have 2 weeks left and wanted to do the Inglis from Ferrol. My feet are very sore so I need to know what the route is like, I have a problem with uphill walking. Please advise.
I bought Lone Peak 4 for my Portuguese camino in August. I love them, super wide toebox, so no more "get these shoes off my feet!!@?~" Lots of space for my toes !!!! Luuuuuuv them
