Yes MarkyD & Stephan The Painter,
I too had shin splints in ‘18.
Agree w MarkyD, and add my observations:
I walked as I trained, long, fast steps.
So I reduced step length but keep same cadence. Probably was carrying too much too. Combination of both.
I wanted to walk to Finisterre and...
Hiya, I was planning Madrid-Salvador-Primitivo, and from Lugo (Lugo must see) take the Camino Verde, across to the Norte, via Friol, to avoid the Melide-Arzua-SdC section which I’ve done before.
Going to Italy now, so hopefully do that lot next year.
Buen Camino, whichever you do…

Oh dear.
I think he did have hurdles, paperwork etc, but overall was very satisfied.
That was in Italy, and MCard is all-over, but they would require correct paper-work of course...
Sorry, reposting due poor proof-reading:
Hi Rita, I did too for my Camino in 2018, with no claims 🙏

Buen Camino

I bought a coda phone SIM card in Barcelona and headed off to SJPDP in 2018.
It showed no life til I crossed the border back into Spain, then worked perfectly (til I forgot to top it up🙄)
Buen Camino
Thank-you😁
I arrived on 13/9/18 with many emotions. I spent 3 fabulous days in SdC catching up with many wonderful people I’d met along the way.
The “home” feeling is strong since being back in Oz. When I see any pic or video of the Camino and particularly the SdC Cathedral I feel as I said...
Hi, as I understand it, and works best for me, they’re designed to have your hips support the weight, not your shoulders.
So, tighten the waste straps so that the pack sits on, and is supported by the hips.
But not too much that you squash your stomach.
Then tighten the shoulder steps to be...
No.
If I listened to music or podcasts I would miss too much of where I was. There was always too much to see, too many people to say hello to, too much to experience that I might not see again. Any simple thing that caught my attention, it didn’t matter what, I wanted to see and feel it.
I...
