The wiki page listed it as a comarca, i think that is where i got confused. It must be a mountain range and an administrative district/region
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Os_Ancares
That is where i got the initial info, but then i tried to find that Os Ancares mountain and it was listed more as a region. Maybe it is just a translation issue. Is it a plural series of mountains called Os Ancares
As you walk up that mountain range, are those mountains named ? I have heard O Courel, the Courel Mountains, Os Ancares, and the Iberian Massif for the greater area.
Can anyone provide some clarity for this part of the trail please ?
Do most people spray the permethrin on the INSIDE of their backpack?
I know the bottle of permethrin said to do outside surfaces, like the outside of a sleeping bag and such. Do you think it does harm if you put it on the inside of packs and containers? Or even the inside of the sleep sack / bag?
Just wanted to say Topo sucks.
They are the new shoe company headed by Tony Post, the barefoot running huckster who made all kinds of false health claims about barefoot running and had to walk them back.
My pair of Topos died after like 2-3 months of just wearing them to work. I ask for a...
I always wondered about that under bus storage. Usually the driver would get out at the stop but maybe i just had good drivers.
I think someone took a few of my socks by accident. Or the dutch brothers at Roncesvalles lost them while spinning my clothes dry. Those spinners are amazing.
I can't avoid the tuna. It is in tapa sandwiches. Salads. Even some cold pasta dish with boiled eggs and tuna, served cold.
I'm done with tuna. How do I avoid it?
And do Spanish really eat that much of it, or is it just a cheap ingredient to push on pilgrims?
I really know nothing but here is where strike actions are listed:

Veuling airline is striking Apr 28-May 1 but i dont see other specific strikes
Any word on air strikes ? Like air traffic controllers or Air France? I fly via Paris the 28/29th then on to Biarritz. Train was my backup plan. I cannot read French but this website suggests a single airline Veuling strikes on April 28, 29, 30, and May 1st. I cannot find whether Air France will...
Is there any data on how many albeurges closed and did not reopen due to covid? I wondered if that could effect capacity but have only heard anecdotes of places closing for good after the economic hardship of covid.
Yeah, for some reason it never asks me. Maybe I don't have it set up right. It cant even route me a walking path from SJPDP to Compostela, so maps.me may just suck for the Frances
What confuses me is, what regions do I need to download for offline use? It has a bunch of regions to download but I'm not sure which the Camino Frances passes thru
