The first time I saw it I thought it was pretty good but nothing spectacular. Then I watched it a second time and was hooked. I've watched it a couple dozen times now, both before and after I walked the Camino and love everything about it. I purchased the movie on Amazon Prime and can watch...
I stayed there in June and got a massage. I also stayed at HQ Spa in Leon and got a massage there. The massage at HQ Spa was less expensive and I thought it was better as well.
I am on the Camino now and prefer hotels and hostals. I have been booking ahead and don’t see where it takes any more time than people hunting around for albergues that aren’t full once they arrive in town. A few days ago I was in Hornillos de Camino and all the albergues filled up and I saw a...
I track myself on long hikes all the time (iPhone 13 Pro Max). And a 7-8 hour hike still leaves 50% battery. If I put the phone in airplane mode while tracking, there is still 70-80% left.
I am starting in SJPP next week and would prefer not to book ahead but am willing to do so if necessary. What I have done is booked the first week and will see what things are like once I am enroute and will adjust accordingly.

I would like to travel as light as possible. The albergues that offer private rooms, are sheets and blankets included? I also want to be flexible and avoid reserving rooms in advance. I realize it’s just a guess at this point, but if I do albergue private rooms, pensiones, and hotels, how...
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but you never know unless you ask. Is it possible to rent a canoe or kayak and paddle the Rio Arga from Pamplona to Puente La Reina? Would be a very interesting way to do that stage.
It seems to me that the need for reservations creates a vicious cycle. Not only on the Camino, but national parks, and other popular destinations. As more and more people make reservations, it becomes more necessary to make one yourself or else take a chance of not having a place to stay...
