Did you use any bed bug prevention methods that required a purchase (ie. spray) ?

I just returned from walking the camino frances from St Jean to Santiago. I never saw a bed bug or heard any pilgrims who had bedbugs. I did not spray my stuff, but did not use communal blankets in albergues. I also used an inflatable pillow. Buen Camino!

How are the Current Walking Conditions?

I made it to Santiago on June 13 after walking from Saint Jean. I had a few days of rain, most in Galicia. It got warmer in June, but it was still fairly comfortable with most days in the low to mid 20's. Mornings and evenings are cooler, so you may need a sweater. Otherwise shorts and...

    Leave only footprints

Hello All, I am on day 17 of my pilgrimage from SJPDP to Santiago. It's my first camino and I am enjoying every minute of it. I'm finding fellow peregrinos to be kind, thoughtful, caring people. Hello, I'll be walking the Camino Frances this spring and understand that while most of the route is well supported, there are a few sections without much in the way of facilities. I'd love to hear your experience. Much appreciated.

    Booking Orisson

Oh wow. I guess that's old information. Thanks. I suppose I'd better book then asap.

    Booking Orisson

My understanding is that you can't book Orisson in advance as it is a pilgrim only albergue. Sounds like it is first come first served. If they do take reservations it might be limited to 48 hours in advance.
