I'm bringing a solar powered USB battery pack with me. My camera and phone (the latter needed for work, sadly,) can both be charged off of it while I'm walking. No need to leave my hardware unattended. No need to fight over power outlets.
I'll be walking my first Camino, starting in SJPDP on April 4th (after flying from Canada, landing in Paris and then travelling for two days.)
I'm walking it solo for spiritual reasons, but I'm not adverse to making new friends or perhaps finding a Camino family along the way!

Have you had any luck with the Alsa website? I've been trying to sort out the bus from Santiago de Compostela to Porto for the end of my first Camino, which I'll be walking in April and concluding in early May. From what I can see, even after breaking down to use Google Translate...
