I'm a few days into the camino and have passed the Pyrenees I'm 16 and doing it with my uncle, and managed fine.
However you should take advice from pilgrims office in St Jean on what route to do in what conditions.
I was planning to take one and wear it as a scarf to protect my neck, and to wear it as a head scarf as well at times on trail, and all it's other purposes, I'm going next week.
But I've been advised not to due to stereotyping and such.
So has anyone had a problem or seen any people having...

I'm starting my camino at the beginning of July and I'm wondering wether walking sandals would be a good idea? Or should I just bring flip flops?
