Solitude and safety on the del norte in Aug/Sep
Hi everybody, I'll start my CN on the 27th of August 2015 from San Sebastian and I'm like you concerned about how it will be. I've been on CF in 2012 where there was a lot of pilgrims. We'll probably not meet but I wish you a safe hiking!- georgyett

Hi Caity, I walked the "Camino Francés" in 2012, like you I came to SJPP in the middle of the day so I decided to walk only 8 kms to Orisson where I stayed for the night because I found the distance between SJPP and Roncevalles(about 27kms) too much to achieve in one afternoon.
