On the morning of 31 May 2015 I lost my Brierley Guidebook at Trabadelo. I accidentally left it on an outside table of the Bar located on the right side of the road heading west. When I went back to the Bar 1.5 hrs later the book was not there, nor in the Bar.

My water bladder was useless. The water tasted of plastic, and the bulk was a hindrance. My recommendation, don't take a water bladder, better to carry small bottle of water on the side of your pack.

That sounds like good advice. I am starting from SJPDP on May 2015, and I am attracted to the idea of stopping at towns that are not at Brierly stop points. Thank for sharing.
Having done several caminos, Con, you must know the answer to my question - are towels issued at the alburgues, or should I pack face and body towels? I am starting my camino at SJPDP on 5 May 2015.
