Hiking Poles hand luggage in Planes ?
Confirming what Silvester reported in December 2014, when flying out of Santiago de Compostela poles are NOT allowed in cabin luggage. Which Osprey backpack?
Just completed the Camino Francés, SJPP to SDC, with the Osprey Kestrel 38. I'm a 5'11" (1.8m) male, 16o lbs (73 kgs), and this pack, when properly adjusted, was a dream. What is the one albergue you would avoid?
In Nájera, the Albergue Sancho III- La Judería It isn't really an albergue, just a bunch of rooms with twice as many beds in each room as there should be. Bathrooms are deplorable. New albergue in Larrasoaña
I stayed there about a month ago. It is new and modern, spotlessly clean, with fabulous bathrooms, a full Pilgrim kitchen, a wonderful evening meal, and warm, gracious, helpful hosts.
