Yes probably most everyone has felt it. And until you go through it once those feelings and doubts will longer.
I walked my first Camino in September of 2016. I trained, obsessed over equipment, and wallored in self doubt. The biggest thing to realize is that this is NOT am athletic completion...
I got my passport through this web site so I would have it when I got to Paris. Once in Paris we went to Notre Dame. Go through main entrance and the front desk which is right there. They will stamp it for you. Buen camino
Hello. I get leg cramps very easy and I know I will need to bring something with Me. Is this stuff available to buy in the pharmacies over there? Thank you
Hi. glad you're enjoying your Camino. I'm starting mine Sept. 10. The commercial magnesium drink you mention is that available for purchase over there? I get leg cramps easy and it's a concern
So many posts about toilet paper. Walking the Camino your way is just fine. But leaving garbage and dirty toilet paper is being a basic pig with bad upbringing. People do the same thing on international flights. Stewards come around many times to collect garbage and still the pigs throw it all...
It's a great subject to ponder. Times change and we change with the times. My first Camino is coming this September. I'm very excited but also curious/anxious... Of the unknown. So I joined this forum and have been ever so grateful for the advice, suggestions, and thoughts. When I land in SJPDP...
I bought two shells (one for me and one for travel buddy) as well as a passport and plastic sleeve right from Ivar on this web site. They are in great shape and I received them within a week. They are very inexpensive, but the international shipping was $$. I wanted them before we arrive in...
I would agree. I always have my nexus 6 phone, which is quite large, with me on any trip. I have of line games in there, my entire Kindle and book library. I take photos with it. Download Spanish for of line use to communicate. I use Wi-Fi when available to Facebook and email family. No need to...
I'm 5'9" and I usually end up with a men's shirt. I found the women's are always cut so small and I am not a twiggy girl. Bottom line is not brand but comfort and quality.
I'm walking my first Camino from sjpdp September 10. I'm really excited about this opportunity and looking forward to the challenge, the people, the scenery and the experience. I've been reading through a lot of these posts (many hours spent doing that) and appreciate all the advice that's offered.
I have read so many posts regarding sim cards, I think I'm more confused than ever. You seem to have experience using them, and could probably offer some advice. My Camino is this September. I have an un locked, Nexus 6 phone. Don't need a lot of call time, just for emergency, but would like a...
Good perspective, thanks. I thought of my upcoming Camino walk in September as just another trip in the beginning. Now that it's only 5 months away I'm worried about all the things you listed as well. Must just be part of the anticipation. Biking season is just around the corner so I'll focus on...
That is an enforcement which has been around for some years. Some countries such as China for sure. Other countries don't require it. I just don't get why there is an expiration date if it's not honored.
