Thankyou. On which sections did you use them?

    Reverse daily luggage transfer

In May I'll walk the VDLP from Salamanca. I was considering that following that maybe walk the Frances in reverse, so to speak, from SDC to SJPDP, having walked it already four times the other way. An older poor back would benefit from transferring most of my pack daily but am unsure if this is...

Favorite Parador in Santo Domingo de la Calzada

I can certainly recommend the former, have stayed there twice. It's also in an excellent location for restaurants, the bell tower, the Cathedral and the Laundry too. Unfortunately I can't recall the other Parador even though I've walked through there four times......my age I guess.

    Camino de Invierno Backpack Transfer

Just to update above, I have today been in touch with Manuel at Casamar via WhatsApp using google translate. My Camino Invierno begins from Ponferrada on 22nd April, next month, he was very quick to reply and most helpful. He is currently charging €6 per stage, very reasonable IMO. My back is...

My flight in September, same route, also cancelled but managed to get on another Bristol flight to Bordeaux via easyJet. Will catch a train from there to Bayonne and thence to SJPDP. Have to fly out a day earlier but will spend a night there and explore the Cathedral in Bordeaux. Easyjet will...

Walked through to Burguete today, may have passed you somewhere. It was such a cracking day I just went for it, didn't stop and managed to get here in six hours. Hope the rain missed you. I did find the walk down into Roncevalles the toughest part, glad to have had a knee support to slip on...

    Roncesvalles worrying

    2016 September/October Peregrinos Departures

Hello MegH, I also fly into Biarritz on the 15th from Gatwick arriving at 15.50. If that coincides would you be interested in a Taxi share? Thought to find some walkers at the airport to link up with but as we're there at on the same date......
