Backpack in airline holds
Buen Camino! I am leaving this August for the Camino Francis and my solution to checking my backpack & poles it to use a "FRAKTA" bag sold at IKEA. Hopefully the link below works. Anyway, in the US it costs $5, so would not be a big loss if damaged. It is shaped like a rectangular box...- Sonder

I'm from Baton Rouge, LA and am planning to walk the camino in August.

I'm from Baton Rouge, LA and am planning to walk the camino in August.
I have been practice hiking and averaging about 4 kmh (2.5 mph) pretty consistently with no strain. However, I plan on taking it easy the first two days.
