    Parador lunch in winter?

Hello... are they still doing the free lunch for the first 10 pilgrims arriving at the Pilgrim Office? The quiet of February might be my only chance to be in the top 10. I'm on the CP. It looks like the Pilgrim Office only island at 10am in winter

Should I learn Portuguese or Spanish

A lot of people in Portugal speak English, they learn it in school. I was totally surprised by that, and relieved! Good to know a few Portuguese words and phrases though. If you know some Spanish, you will be able to read a lot of Portugese, but the pronunciation is so different!

    Canada's Chemin des Sanctuaires

Yes it looks pretty flat until Ste Anne. I have been down that way many times, my Dad is from an anglophone area of Gaspé. But we would drive on the bigger highway. Autoroute Guy Lafleur I guess! I met two others who will be walking the same stages on the same days in a Zoom call. They didn't...

Hola Bonjour! This is an older thread .... but I'm walking the demi parcours of the Chemin des Sanctuaires in June! I'd love to hear from those who have done it if you're still posting here! I have survival level of French but am not really fluent enough for meaningful socializing. I know it...

Hi! I'm in the same situation you were ... my cousins are renting a cottage on PEI and I'm joining them, and would like to walk a few days of the trail while there but the logistics are so complicated! They now have a public bus that goes around the island in the early morning and again in the...

In Canada a new trail inspired by the Camino

I'm going to PEI in August and I'd like to walk 3 or 4 days before meeting up with my cousins, but it's so complicated! If anyone has a 3-4 day itinerary they used, would you share it with me? So much of the information seems secretive, asking logistics questions online we only get pointed to an...
