Woman Walking solo on the ingles in september

Hi I walked the Camino Ingles in June. I am 56 solo woman walker and had no problems. I never felt unsafe at all, met lots of people, groups, couples and walked with other solo men and women. I stayed in small hotels, casa rurales and hostals as i like having my own space at night. I carried...

    Camino Inglés route

Thanks for that Jeff. However I'm certainly no Geographer and am not familiar with google earth flying! I had no intention of bringing any GPS device other than what I can access on my phone. I do use Google maps to find my way around Irish backroads but that's about it. Maybe if I get to...

Yes, train it definitely is however I am arriving on Sunday to SdC to Ferrol so reckon the Tourist Office will be closed. Should I wait until it opens on Monday, which will leave me setting out late or just forego the TO stamp?

    Santiago to Ferrol

Hi I am starting my Camino from Ferrol on 10 June, will fly into SdC, arriving at 10.35 and was wondering which is "nicest" option to get to Ferrol. There is a bus from SdC at 2pm or I could take train to A Coruna and then train or bus to Ferrol. I have plenty of time and don't really want to...

11 days in June - To Santiago by C. Ingles, Ourense or Sarria

Thank you both for the very helpful replies. I think you have helped me make up my mind to take the Camino Ingles. Actually I read that it was a traditional camino for Irish pilgrims who sailed to La Coruna from Ireland and started there. Apparently you can walk the Kerry pilgrim path to...

Hi although I've never yet walked any Camino, i'm really obsessing about going there. In another post I got great help and support for my plan to walk from SDJPP to Pamplona on 11 May 2018 for 3 days. Not long now!! But bitten already by the desire to go back for longer, I have booked to...

Hi all Thank you for your help, advice and kind words. I'm really looking forward to it now and all going well will be back to the forum in the future to ask where to go next time! Typical me though; I'm not even there yet and I'm already wishing I could stay longer. I really need to stop...
