Mosquitos, ticks, snakes, etc.
I am currently on the Camino Frances, near Fromista, and about 5 days ago had bedbugs in the albergue (cant recall the name ). And there were swarms of some kind of flies for a long while about 3 days ago. But I haven't seen mosquitoes, tics or spiders!- marymckatie

Sleeping bag
I disagree about the sleeping bag! After not sleeping 3 nights because it was so cold, tonight, my 4th night, I had to buy a sleeping bag in Pamplona. Buying Sleeping Bag in Spain
NO WAY! I'm on day 5 and came with a liner. No blankets provided the last 3 nights, and last night not a bed available in Zubiri...many of us had only the cement floor of an unheated gym! I'm in Pamplona shopping for a sleeping bag today! Buen Camino!- marymckatie
