    UK to Portugal Ferry Route?

    I think that the idea is to travel to Piortugal (permitted by UK after May 17th) - walk or bus into Spain - return to Portugal and back to UK. The problem is that at present Portugal wont let UK citizens in!

    Digital Brierley Guide?

    I found that NOT having a smartphone is a blessing on a Camino. It gave me more time to meditate and interact with other pilgrims. The weight of a Brierly guide is not significant and I need not worry about a flat battery!

    There is also the possibility of shortening a stage by getting a taxi to accommodation - and then a taxi back the next day to continue.

    Luggage Transfer on Camino de Levante

    I am not sure how reliable the Spanish Postal Service is but you could post a suitcase (in a box?) to four or five stages ahead. This would reduce your daily pack load. We did this on a trek across Switzerland some years ago.

    We traveled the Coastal Easy Camino last year with Caminoways. All went well. Our only disability was Old Age! The longest day was 20km into Vigo. You could reduce this by walking further on the day before and then getting a taxi back to the night's lodging. On the following morning gat a taxi...

    You could get a bus from Conimbriga to Coimbra, spend the night there. The next day get the bus back to Cominbriga.
