walking from Paris mid-June 2010

Hello New pilgrim here!
What I learned in 2003 that is vital: take half the clothes you think you need (one set to wear, one to wash and maybe one spare set of underwear) do take a digital camera but don't take too many pics early on - you run out of power and memory before Santiago! smile and act a lot - it overcomes...- londonesbii

Have anyone done some " training" before taking on camino
I did the leg from Leon to Santiago in 2003 and hope to do the French part from Paris this summer. However, my first day in 2003 was walking the 8Km out of Leon on concrete and tarmac. Do NOT assume boots walked in on Northern European woodlands/footpaths will not cause trouble in much hotter...- londonesbii
