😀 You will do fine if you do not carry too much luggage, walk your own pace, take care of your feet and listen to your body (take a break when needed). Itineries are only suggestions of your daily route… you are free to change when you feel like it 😀
Normally, i walk without poles. But when you keep in mind that while walking El Camino you carry a backpack of 6 to 8 kg and you have these steep descents… those poles really help you with balance and to get some pressure off your knees… 😀
Compeet is working fine if you have a blister and want to continue walking. Just keep in mind, Do Not take of the Compeet at the end of the day. Leave it on for a few days and remove it when your blister is no longer bothering you. Yes, this can indeed take a few days.

I see that you walked el Camino before, so if I were you, I would buy the Van, take the necessary breaks in Oregon when needed and aim to do the Camino again next year :)
