Gender differences walking the Caminos
It was my experience that women were the strongest walkers on the Camino. Last Oct. I went from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela in 29 days and there were multiple women I could not keep up with. Did you frame your Compostela?
Yes I had both the Credential and the Compostela framed, but for me to use the phrase of my friend Buckeroo,"Pride of place", goes to the Credential and it's sellos. I value both but the Credential is a record of the journey and not just the destination. I plan to return in the spring of 2014...- siseale94

Retiring
I retired June 1 after thirty two years of Teaching in a large public high school. I do understand the sense of liberation, I promise. The Camino, which I will do in early Oct., is my gift to myself and my way of making the transition into my second life. I wish you many adventures in yours.- siseale94
