    Buy a new pack or use what I have

    Does the top part detach? If it does, you'll probably fit into the overhead compartment as long as your side pockets are empty.     We used Gaia We used Gaia on the Voie de Vezelay, with the tracks and facilities waypoints available from the Dutch Camino group. It is GPS so no cell service needed. You can record and save your stages in a different color from the track. We have the subscription version fir Android.

    Left adapter in wall & can't charge phone

    Goid suggestions here. I lost two adapters my first trip to France! This last trip I bought some hot pink duct tape and stuck pieces on all my electronics, including cords. Hard not to notice them with that bright pink!

    Had a similar experience when road walking in Alabama years ago. Never saw blisters like those, top of toenail, under the nail and out the bottom! Arrived in Selma and bought a pair of sandals, boots never went back on til we flew home . Back in those you could return the boots, and I did.
