    I walked from Malaga to Cordoba a few weeks ago. Everywhere was open. I note of caution though, distances between places get longer and therefore water is a problem. Obviously no open water to filter. I carried 4 to 5 litres. Buen Camino

    Thanks for your comments. My dates were fixed for this year but like everyone else I have deferred until next year. I do love the heat. 2018 Portuguese Camino 37c for two weeks and loved it. Plan to start earlier next year.

    I have now bought my flight to Malaga. Start walking to Santiago on 29 May 2020. Going to check available resources over this holiday period. I hope it will be more crowded than the Portuguese Camino i did recently, Lisbon to Oporto without meeting another peregrino.. Happy New year.
