Walk or bus to Matosinhos
Exactly what we did. Started walking around 1-2 pm after having flown in from Canada and taking the metro to Cathedral. Walked to Matosinhos, 28 degrees in the blazing sun, backpacks on, and severely jet lagged, but thoroughly enjoying the sights and sounds of the city, it’s people, the river...- Martin&Yvonne

Ferry Crossings From Portugal to Spain and also within Portugal
When we arrived at the ferry dock in Caminha at appr 9 am during Camino this last September the first ferry crossing for that day would be at appr 1.30 Pm. There didn’t seem to be a regular ferry schedule due to (very) low tide. However, we paid the €10 for the 2 of us right at the ferry ticket...- Martin&Yvonne

It’s very easy, you can select instructions to be in English on the ticket machines. Your first purchase will be incl the Andante card. I believe it’s €o.60 for the card.
