I arrived in Santiago and didn't see a single pilgrim.
We found the Sanabres from Ourense to be similar. During our whole trip in June this year we met about five fellow pilgrims each day. Leaving belongings in Lisbon
We walked from Lisboa in 2019 and posted a bag forward a few days at a time. So, Lisboa to Tomar, Tomar to Coimbra, and finally Coimbra to Porto. We found that the post office would hold the bag for two business days. It worked for us. Bon Caminoh!- Bill632

Which is the flattest major Camino de Santiago route?
Hi James, like you we prefer a flat walk with not too many hills or mountains. However, realistically, there are always hills at some point.
