    Sadly, the MMD app is no longer available ... there were too many technical issues maintaining and updating it to work on multiple platforms ... so it twas discontinued several years ago and has been «replaced» by en electronic version of their printed guidebooks ...

    How about walking from StJPP to Le Puy-en-Velay on the GR65 Via Podiensis [in reverse] then on to Geneva via the GR65 extension [also known as the Via Genennensis] and from there to the Via Francigena ... there’s a lot more pilgrim-hiker infrastructure on the Voie du Puy [accommodation et al]...

    iPhiGéNie is awesome both on and off the trail ... have been using it since 2014 and like you, I would not walk in France without it ... most recently I have used it to record my tracks which has proved to be another helpful function 😂 especially fir future trip planning 👣👣👣
