Thank you, Lise, for offering such consoling words. Much appreciated. A friend of mine also mentioned that I did indeed walk part of the Camino, and that I should be proud of that. I don't think that I have yet accepted what I did manage as an accomplishment yet, though. Some day, perhaps...- Cowan

My failure was a lack of persistence. I failed myself. I thought I was a superwoman, since my training beforehand was miraculous, but I learned quite quickly that I wasn't as strong as I thought I was. I regret that I didn't last longer on the Camino, and I will keep this failure in my heart...- Cowan
