    I can report that it has worked wonders as far as soothing the itch, and discomfort with "sun poisoning", as does Epson salts bath soak. I have used it and so has my family.

    Every morning is different. Some places have a restaurant that opens for morning walkers, some places have a coffee machine (better than it sounds), sometimes there is nothing at all and you have to walk a while until an open bar for your first cafe con leche. You will adjust to it, no worries.

    My second Camino, I walked the Camino de Madrid, the CF from Sahagun to Astorga (bused to Santiago) then the Camino Finisterre and Muxia. A month in total. It worked for me.

    I walked 2013 & 2014 September to mid October. Only a few days of rain, very dry. Needed my light weight fleece jacket some mornings toward the end. I've stayed at the Hotel Mediodia across from Atocha train station several times, www.mediodiahotel.com
