    Scam - again..

    My bank in Australia phoned me while I was transferring euros into my new Wise card. Stated this was the fraud dept and had I just transferred a large amount into Wise. I was very thankful to them for keeping an eye on my account.

    I like to walk alone during the day but enough to meet up at cafes and to have dinner with in the evenings. You lose some and gain some in the 6 weeks but in Salamanca there was a good gathering and then on the Sanabrese a bunch of us who started in Seville were still in tune to Santiago. Perfecto!

    Books are heavy

    I also like to take my guide book although I have Wise Pilgrim Apps on my phone. Also must have a book to read. Part of my must haves in my backpack.

    How do you count your caminos?

    I count my Caminos by the amount of flights from Australia .17 now and will be 18 next April. Sometimes 2or 3 Caminos in each trip. Needless to say I no longer collect Compostelas. Worse part of any Camino is the long flight.:rolleyes:

    I put an extra amount of dollars in so I'm using my own money. I don't use it at ATMs but in Hotels etc. Don't know about hidden fees.

    7/10 for me and yes I am a Camino addict. My first was to celebrate my 60th birthday .It was memorable with 12 of my Camino family at the Parador in Rabanal. Thinking back I couldn't have started younger as my life panned out in such a way that 2007 was exactly when I needed to be there.
