I agree. Zaragoza is amazing. I spent a week there last october after the camino olvidado and it was during fiesta del pilar. Fantastic celebrations. Also wonderful mudejar architecture.
I am interested in this thread. I have an analogue phone and two years ago walk part of the via romea germanica in Italy and I had downloaded maps.me plus the maps they provided on their website. I must admit I really have no idea what i was doing but it seemed to work. I certainly noted when...
I had to reply as the date registered in my mind. First camino 10 May 2005 ..2nd day of walking from Roncesvalle to Zubiri..we had breakfast at Burgete first taste of tortilla. I don't have digital photos. However we looked very happy in all photos.
This is so great this thread and all the comments are thought provoking and i am agreeing with alot of the comments ! Luckily I have 10 days for Spain in September and hopefully a short camino. I do love Spain so much..if I am not walking I can always train or bus. Meanwhile i can walk locally.

Hi when we walked the Camino Norte a few years ago, there was a guy who always did his stretches in his bunk in the morning including leg stretches and back stretches. It was quite funny to see -but on the other hand he didn't get injuries!
This has been very entertaining and enlightening and amusing and alot of time wasted and it is late in the day. But just think about those anagrams
Caminos becomes macinos
robots becomes boots-r
so maybe they do all fit together.

I think this is a miscellaneous topic! We plan to walk in June for 2 weeks from Irun to Burgos. Before we walk we will need to post ahead some extra clothes to Burgos from within Spain. Does anyone know the time limit for parcels kept at post offices which are NOT Santiago De C. and if...
Hi there
If it was on the Norte it may have been between Castro-Urdiales and Laredo. There are alternatives there. But the alternative through La Magdalena way, which increases the distance, is over a mountain & through the forest . And in June 2009 there was alot of stacked logs at the top...
