carnivals outside churches
A few years ago we were in Oviedo in September and it was the festival of San Mateo and Americas Day. There was a large stage outside the cathedral and lots of music with the piper bands and local country dancing. There were also stalls selling local foods and sidra (local cider). Daily food costs on the Inglés and Norte
Just looking through my journal from my Camino Ingles last March and these are some of the prices I have written down. I started from Ferrol. I have just finished the Camino Ingles and spent 4 days in Santiago and it did not rain once, my first ever camino without using waterproof clothing and no umbrella in Santiago!- madrid12

Accommodation after the Camino
When we stayed in Muxia we asked in Bar Miramare on the sea front if they had rooms and they took us to a lovely house on Calle Real I think where we stayed for a couple of days. Also the FEVE trip is good, its a bit like doing the Camino del Norte and there are some interesting places, Luarca...- madrid12

I think I may have sat here last November and had a beer, and also again last March when I went back with my husband. Again another beer, both times it was sunny. I also picked up quite a few shells so I have my scallop shell ready for my next camino whenever that may be.- madrid12
